Elizabeth Moore Sarasota Open selects Coastal Orthopedics as medical partner for 2026 tournament

SARASOTA, Fla. — TheElizabeth Moore Sarasota Open recently announced Coastal Orthopedics, a full-service provider of comprehensive orthopedic surgery, sports medicine, spine care, diagnostic imaging and physical therapy service, has once again been selected as its medical partner for the 2026 tournament taking place on April 5-12, 2026.

This year’s tournament will take place at IMG Academy, located at 5500 34th Street West in Bradenton, Florida, offering championship-caliber courts and state-of-the-art infrastructure for an unmatched setting for players and fans alike.

As medical partner, Dr. R. Stephen Otte, fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon who specializes in shoulder and elbow at Coastal Orthopedics, will serve as the on-site physician for the event activities. During tournament week, he will assist with any medical issues that arise amongst the players, including evaluating injuries to make sure competitors are fit to continue the tournament and filling out appropriate forms for medical disqualification.

This is the fifth year that Dr. Otte has been chosen as the on-site physician for the Elizabeth Moore Sarasota Open. In previous years, he has also acted as the on-site physician for the 2023 inaugural event of the World Champions Cup and the 2021 PGA Tour’s World Champions Cup-Mexico at The Concession Golf Club. He will also serve as the on-site physician for the upcoming Senior PGA Championship at The Concession Golf Club on April 16-19, 2026.

The Elizabeth Moore Sarasota Open is an ATP Challenger Tour event, featuring men’s singles and doubles competition. This year, Kei Nishikori, 2010 winner, will be returning to compete in the event. Nishikori has been ranked as high as no. four in the world, and is a 12-time ATP Tour champion, six-time ATP 500 champion, four-time Masters 1000 finalist and 2016 Rio Olympics Bronze Medalist.
