Convicted Felon Faces Meth, Weapons Charges, Deputies Say

Sarasota County deputies say she made the mistake of selling methamphetamine to undercover detectives.

SARASOTA, FL – A 32-year-old convicted felon is back behind bars after Sarasota County Sheriff’s deputies say she sold methamphetamine to undercover officers not once, but three times, over the past few weeks.

Those alleged sales enabled deputies to obtain a search warrant for Samantha Wynn’s Tucker Avenue home. Once inside, the SWAT Team and detectives found 4.1 grams of meth, four different calibers of ammunition, drug paraphernalia and about gram of marijuana, a media release on the arrest stated.

Wynn was brought into custody prior to the search Tuesday on an outstanding warrant for driving on a suspended license, the agency noted. At the time of her arrest, deputies say they found four grams of meth in her possession.
