Cops: Woman Dared to Go Bare at Dunkin' Donuts

Dunkin’ Donuts customers in South Florida got quite an eyeful Sunday when local police say a 32-year-old woman stripped naked and sat outside the eatery for all to see.

Shakara Monik Martin performed the stunt on a dare, according to Fox News. It seems the West Palm Beach woman accepted the dare as part of a pledge to an unspecified dance troop, the Palm Beach Post reports.

While Martin didn’t tell police what dance troop she was trying to join or what kind of dancing gets her in the groove, witnesses did tell police she was offered clothing several times, the paper reported.

Martin, however, proving she was up to the challenge, refused to cover up.

She was apologetic when police arrived, but that didn’t stop them from taking her to jail. By the time her mugshot was snapped at the Palm Beach County Jail, she had donned clothing.

Jail records indicate Martin was booked on a charge of indecent exposure Sunday and was later released on her own recognizance.

Martin’s alleged display isn’t the only unusual occurrence outside a South Florida Dunkin’ Donuts in recent months. Last month, a Coconut Creek police dog was fired after being accused of biting a Dunkin’ Donuts employee on the calf. Renzo, a 4-year-old Belgian Malinois, it seems had a penchant for nipping on non-suspects.
