“Herd” the news? Cow Appreciation Day is Friday, July 12! Customers who dress ‘head to hoof’ in cow attire will be rewarded for their participation in the chain’s ninth annual celebration with a free meal (breakfast, lunch or dinner) when they visit one of the company’s 38 Tampa Bay area restaurants. Chick-fil-A will award a complimentary entrée to customers partially dressed in cow attire, such as a cow-spotted scarf, purse, tie, hat or other accessory.
Tampa Bay Chick-fil-A restaurants will also celebrate the third annual Invasion of the Cows on July 11, navigating a pirate ship float full of Chick-fil-A “Eat Mor Chikin®” Cows through the streets of Tampa, St. Petersburg and Clearwater Beach. The herd will ride atop one of Gasparilla’s largest pirate floats to distribute free Chick-fil-A® Chicken Biscuits at Lykes Gaslight Square Park in downtown Tampa at 8 a.m. and cow-themed giveaways at Clearwater Marine Aquarium at 1 p.m. Children at All Children’s Hospital will receive a private visit at 10 a.m. from the Cow brigade in honor of Cow Appreciation Day (media are invited to attend).
