EggTown Opens In Lakewood Ranch
EggTown Breakfast & Lunch has opened a new location in Lakewood Ranch.

It’s the fourth restaurant for the local chain, which launched in New Tampa in 2019.
“It’s beautiful here. The area is amazing and so nice. From our first week, it’s been a success,” owner Alket Marku told the Bradenton Herald.

New Deli Closes Two Days After Opening
The Original Wolfie’s & Rascal House in Sarasota has temporarily closed its doors two days after opening because of staffing issues.
“We have decided to temporarily close our doors in order to welcome more dedicated and passionate staff into our Wolfie's and Rascal House family. Our aim is to ensure that every visit is as iconic and seamless as the first,” owners wrote in a Nov. 4 Facebook post.
They added, “We're excited to welcome new faces to our team, train them in the art of delivering the highest quality deli experience, and make improvements to our service. We appreciate your understanding during this brief pause, and we can't wait to welcome you back soon.”

PigFish Opens at Calusa Brewing
Calusa Brewing and Chef Steve Phelps from Indigenous have opened a new sandwich shop, PigFish, in Sarasota. The shop is located in the former White Buffalo Saloon space.
“Get ready to explore our new space, savor fantastic brews (and) food, and create more memorable moments,” PigFish wrote in an Instagram post.
The Breakfast Company Opens Second Bradenton Eatery
The Breakfast Company has opened the doors of the local chain’s second Bradenton eatery in the University Town Center area.
The family-owned company opened its first restaurant in Sarasota in 2020 and a Bradenton location earlier this year.
“This was about 1-and-a-half years in the making. We’re happy to be here now. We have a big vision for the company,” owner Dimitri Syros told the Bradenton Herald about the University Town Center store. “We are looking to continue growing the company.”
Fifth Chick-fil-A Planned in Bradenton Area
Chick-fil-A has filed paperwork to open its fifth restaurant in Manatee County, according to the Bradenton Herald.
It will open in the Bayshore Gardens Shopping Center at 6010 14th Street W.
