September Clinics at the Golf Academy at University Park County Club refine golf swing and skills for adults and juniors

The Club is also offering Saturday golf clinics for juniors ages six to 16 to help them improve their stroke technique and overall game.
Learn new ways to elevate your golf game at one or more of the September golf clinics being offered at University Park Country Club’s Golf Academy. A diverse set of weekly clinics focus on specific technical golf skills for men, women and juniors ages six to 16 and are designed to help all abilities improve their game and lower their scores.
Open to members and non-members, participants benefit from having Head Golf Professional Ashley Hayden and former South African Open Champion and Head Teaching ProfessionalClinton Whitelaw share their skill, knowledge and acumen.
September School & Clinic Schedule
Men’s Golf Clinics
Dates:Every Tuesday: September 4, 11, 18, 25
Time: 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. (same time for all dates)
Cost: $25 per person/per clinic
Weekly topics basic putting technique, driver skills, irons, hybrids, bunker play and specialty shots. The small group clinics designed to help participants improve their game in a friendly atmosphere. Maximum class size is 10 with a minimum 5:1 student/instructor ratio.
Ladies’ Golf Clinics
Dates: Every Wednesday: September 5, 12, 19, 26
Time: 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. (same time for all dates)
Cost: $25 per person/per clinic
Weekly topics include putting, chipping, irons, driver, hybrids, bunker play, specialty shots, pre-shot and pre-round routine. Join other like-minded women who want to improve and learn how to more fully enjoy the game of golf. Maximum class size is 10 with a minimum 5:1 student/instructor ratio.
Saturday Morning Drop-In Clinics
Dates:September 8, 15, 22, 29
Time:10:00 – 11:00 a.m. (same for all dates)
Cost:$25 per person/ per clinic
Each week includes one full shot topic and one short game topic.
Saturday Junior Golf Clinics (Ages 6-16)
Dates:September 8,15, 22, 29
Time: 9:00 – 10:00 am (same for all dates)
Cost:$25 per person / per clinic (Includes a snack and drink)
Clinics cover putting, chipping, pitching, long game, bunkers, rules and knowledge tests with a different focus each week.
