PLATO, Inc., in conjunction with arts activist/supporter Anne Howard, is forming the Arts Lover's League (ALL), designed to build a bridge to the arts between local K-12 schools and the professional arts. An informational breakfast will be held Reservations are required and can be made by calling Anne Howard by April 27.
The main goals of ALL are to encourage aspiring young talents from the scholastic community and showcase their work to arts patrons in a professional arena - the Golden Apple - through fine art, sculpture, photography and jewelry displays in the lobby; mini performances by student jazz combos or string ensembles; perusing poetry or watching a dance video; and more.
