Former Massage Therapist Now Faces Child Molestation Charges

A Sarasota massage therapist is now charged with three counts of lewd and lascivious molestation of a child under the age of 12.

SARASOTA, FL – A Sarasota massage therapist accused of inappropriately touching women while giving them massages is now charged with three counts of lewd and lascivious molestation of a child under the age of 12.

Ruslan Grushco, 44, of 1320 Boulevard of the Arts #414, Sarasota, was arrested in February after three women came forward and accused him of sexual misconduct during massage sessions.

Following media coverage of Grushco's arrest in February, Sarasota Police detectives received a call from a woman stating that, between 2000 and 2002, Grushco inappropriately touched her when she was between the ages of 10 and 12 years old.

The victim lived with Grushco at the time of the abuse and the victim's mother was dating and later married Grushco.

The victim told detectives the abuse ranged from Grushco picking door locks to the victim's bedroom to touching her inappropriately both at home and in public.

Based on the investigation, Sarasota Police detectives arrested Grushco.

Grushco is currently being held at the Sarasota County Jail on $150,000 bond.
