Gator In Starbucks Drive-Thru Moved To Pond: North Port Fire Rescue

NORTH PORT, FL — Starbucks customers out for their Saturday morning cup of coffee had quite the surprise — a gator hanging out in the drive-thru.

North Port Fire Rescue responded to the coffee shop when called about the alligator sighting, the agency wrote in a Facebook post.

Fire crews worked with North Port police to wrangle and remove the gator, safely relocating it to a nearby pond.

“Who knew our mornings could get so wild? Remember folks, even on your morning coffee run, always expect the unexpected,” NPFR wrote.
