Kicking of the awards ceremony for the First Watch Sarasota races, Life Time, which owns and produces the First Watch Sarasota 10K and 5K, presented a per-registered runner check for $3,000 to Girls on the Run Greater Tampa Bay.

The newly formed charity partnership and donation will go toward helping grow the Girls on the Run after-school fitness and life skills program at Sarasota and Manatee County schools. Each year, more than 1,500 third through eighth grade girls, from more than 60 locations spanning from Sarasota County to North Tampa, participate in this life changing program. The collective per registered runner donation of $3,000 was honored by Life Time from the collective half marathon, relay, 10K and 5K registrations.
