Hit-And-Run Driver Injures Teen On Bicycle In Sarasota County: FL Highway Patrol

SARASOTA COUNTY, FL — An Osprey man faces charges after a hit-and-run crash that injured a 13-year-old on a bicycle on East Bay Street Tuesday, authorities said.

David Ching Chen Chang, 65, of Osprey was charged with leaving the scene with property damage and evidence destroying, according to a Florida Highway Patrol news release.

Troopers found and impounded his car in Tampa.

They later arrested Chang and he was booked into the Sarasota County Jail, FHP said.
