Ian Black Real Estate to manage leasing for airport property
The commercial real estate brokerage firm has been tapped to handle leasing for the former Honeywell Aerospace location in Sarasota
Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport has engaged Ian Black Real Estate to manage leasing for a 50,000-square-foot Class A industrial/office building at 8323 Lindbergh Ct in Sarasota. The property was previously leased to Honeywell Aerospace, which moved out of the building in 2007.
The free-standing, fully air-conditioned office, manufacturing and warehouse property on 8.32 acres has close proximity to Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport, U.S. 301, University Parkway and I-75. The property has 6,600 square feet of office space, four grade-level loading doors and three-phase power with over 2,000 amps.
“This building is a unicorn in terms of its size, location and available amperage,” said Steve Horn, CCIM, partner at Ian Black Real Estate. “Most buildings in this market don’t have three-phase power at 2,000 amps. Companies that require any type of assembly or manufacturing will have machines that will need this level of power, and this building is ready to go.”

The property also has generous parking and the ability to add more parking in the adjacent lot, per the tenant’s needs.
“In addition to a manufacturer, this could be a good opportunity for last-mile distribution or a call center,” said Nick DeVito II, SIOR, partner at Ian Black Real Estate. “Between the property features, location and ample parking, we expect this to be of interest to many different types of tenants.”
