Jensen The Great!

Georg Jensen was born 1866 Denmark Copenhagen where he learned to silversmith and owned his own shop. Georg Jensen known as the Smithy produced items such as cutlery, hollowware, bar and wine accessories, jewelry, tableware and home décor items made of sterling silver. Jensen had stores all over the world and more than 3,000 patterns by 1935!!! Many craftsmen were influenced in Georg’s lifetime by his influential style. Even today, designers are still inspired by his artistic methods and techniques!

Here at Forms In Sculpture we have had the privilege of working on some Georg Jensen pieces. With extreme care and pride, we have polished some Jensen sterling silver items back to their natural shine!
