Kirk Pinkerton's Gant McCloud Admitted to Bar of the Supreme Court

F. Gant McCloud, an estate planning attorney and shareholder with the prestigious Kirk Pinkerton, P.A. (www.kirkpinkerton.com) law firm in Sarasota, was recently admitted to the Bar of the Supreme Court of the United States at the Supreme Court Building in Washington, DC by the Justices of the Supreme Court.

Veteran Supreme Court litigator Carter G. Phillips of Sidley Austin LLP, who has argued more cases before the Supreme Court than any other attorney currently in private practice, made the motion for McCloud’s admission. Chief Justice John Roberts granted the motion.

F. Gant McCloud is board certified in wills, trusts and estates by the Florida Bar and holds the highest peer rating (AV) from the independent attorney-rating agency, Martindale-Hubbell. His practice focuses on estate planning, taxation, probate and trust administration. McCloud also assists clients with business succession planning and related business entity transactions.

He received a bachelor’s degree from Duke University and earned his J.D. and LL.M. in taxation, with honors, from Northwestern University.
