Lake Sarasota Community Clean-Up Scheduled For Saturday Morning
Sarasota County is hosting a community clean-up in the Lake Sarasota neighborhood Saturday morning.
SARASOTA COUNTY, FL — It's time to clean out the garage and gather discarded household items, appliances, junk and tree trimmings in the Lake Sarasota area.
Sarasota County is hosting a free community cleanup for the neighborhood Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon.
Dumpsters for residents in the area will be available at the Sarasota Baptist Church at 7901 Proctor Road, according to a news release from the county.

Hazardous waste, such as paint, oil, gas, electronics, appliances, computers and tires no larger than 25 inches by 16 inches will not be accepted.
Those discarding hazardous materials can bring them to the Sarasota County Chemical Collection Centers at 8750 Bee Ridge Road in Sarasota and 250 S. Jackson Road in Venice Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
