Miracle Dog Survives 120-Foot Fall
The New York City dog has had an eventful visit to Florida.
While it’s said cats have nine lives, Bonzo the Pekingese might have been gifted with a few to spare, as well.
The 12-year-old pooch, a New York City stray, came to Florida recently to visit with his owner’s mother in West Palm Beach. Since he suffers from a host of health conditions, his owner, Kimberly Bellinger, didn’t even consider her mom’s 11-story condo balcony would pose a problem, she told the Palm Beach Post.
As it turned out, Bellinger was wrong.

Bonzo took a tumble off the balcony’s edge about a week ago, falling about 120 feet to a grassy area below. Remarkably, he managed to escape with only a rib fracture.
“The vets called it a miracle,” Bellinger was quoted on video as saying. “My theory is he either has an exoskeleton, he can teleport or he has a guardian angel.”
