'Musical Flea Market' Fundraiser Coming Up in Sarasota

Got old records, sheet music, stereo equipment? Consider making a donation. Or swing by April 15 and do some shopping!

SARASOTA, FL – News from the Sarasota Music Archive:

The Sarasota Music Archive and the Selby Public Library will hold a MUSICAL FLEA MARKET at the Selby Public Library, Geldbart Auditorium on April 15, 10am - 4pm.

The Selby Library houses a treasure of music recordings and sheet music which are maintained by the Sarasota Music Archive, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the preservation of music.Our Goals include:

  • Increase our membership
  • Recruit new volunteers
  • Raise money to support our lecture series and performances

We ask you to help by donating items for sale – basically anything relating to music, including:

  • Records, CD’s, DVD’s –jazz, pop, classical, collections
  • Books, sheet music, posters, art
  • Musical instruments
  • Equipment (working): receivers, amps, turntables, bookshelf speakers, CD/DVD players, etc.
  • Antiques, collectables and memorabilia

You’ll receive a receipt for your donations.
