North Port Man Charged With Child Pornography

NORTH PORT, FL -- Sarasota County Sheriff's detectives arrested a 24-year-old man Thursday for transmission and possession of child pornography.

Detectives received information that Luis Gonzalez was possibly transmitting child pornography. On Thursday, they executed a search warrant on his home in the 3400 block of Rockman Street in North Port where they seized his laptop. A preliminary scan showed two images of child pornography on the computer.

He remains in custody without bond while the investigation continues.
