Pedestrian Dies Of Injuries After Being Struck On 10th Street
A pedestrian has died of injuries sustained after being struck by a car near the intersection of 10th Street and U.S. 41.
SARASOTA, FL -- A pedestrian has died of injuries sustained after being struck by a car near the intersection of 10th Street and U.S. 41.
The crash occurred Tuesday, Aug. 22, just before 8:45 p.m. when a vehicle struck a pedestrian who was attempting to cross 10th Street. The pedestrian, a man, was taken to the Sarasota Memorial Hospital where he died of his injuries. His identity is pending notification of his next of kin.
The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with Sarasota Police.
