Ramen Noodle Restaurant Opening In Sarasota

A new ramen noodle restaurant, Yokoso Ramen, is opening in Sarasota this summer.

The new eatery will open in July on Clark Road.

“We’re looking to have different flavors and different noodle types that are available in Japan,” Bobby Prather, part owner, told the Sarasota Herald Tribune.

About 20 types of milk tea will also be offered by the restaurant.

Walk-On’s Hopes To Move Into Sarasota Area

Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux is hoping to expand into the Sarasota area after opening a new franchise in midtown Tampa.

The new central Tampa Cajun-inspired restaurant features 84 televisions to watch sports. The local franchise owner, Mike Lester, told the Tampa Bay Times, “We’re fans of Pinellas County, St. Pete and Clearwater. Also, Brandon and Riverview, we love those areas as well. Go a little bit farther north, and we’re also looking at Brooksville and Ocala. And also, you go down to Sarasota and Bradenton, those are areas we’re also targeting as well.”

Coffee, Ice Cream Shops Among Retailers Moving In Downtown

Five small businesses are moving into the retail spaces on the bottom floor of the City Centre parking garage in downtown Bradenton.

Among the businesses are Orange Blossom Coffee, a partnership of Banyan Coffee Co., and Millie’s Sweets and Treats, a hand-dipped ice cream shop.
