Reward in Dog Killing Case Rises to $15,000

Foxx, a Pomeranian, was found beaten to death with a mocking note taped to his lifeless body.

As the search for the person or people responsible for killing a 13-year-old Pomeranian in Pembroke Pines continues, authorities have announced the reward for information that leads to an arrest in the animal crueltyĀ case has climbed to $15,000.

ā€œWe know many of you have messaged us and posted asking for updates but we unfortunately do not have any to share with you at this time,ā€ Foxx’s owner, Ronald Boisvert wrote on Facebook. ā€œWe can assure you the police are doing their best with the information they have and keep us in the loop with everything.ā€

The search for Foxx’s killer began when the dog’s body was found near its home earlier this month. A handwritten note was taped to Foxx’s body. That note read: ā€œWE BEAT IT 2 Death lol! HAHAHA!ā€
