Sarasota Man Charged With 17 Counts Of Child Pornography
Sarasota detectives have arrested a Sarasota man after receiving tips from the National Center For Missing and Exploited Children.

SARASOTA, FL -- Detectives with the Sarasota Police Department have arrested a Sarasota man after a search warrant was executed at his apartment following two cyber-tips from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
Michael Grider, 46, of Columbia Court, Sarasota, has been charged with 17 counts of sexual performance by a child - possession of child pornography.
On Oct. 16, detectives with the Sarasota Police Department executed a search warrant at Grider's apartment in the 500 block of Columbia Court after receiving tips from the NCMEC, which obtained information from Google that the same pornographic image of a child had been uploaded on different days.

On Nov. 1, Grider was arrested and transported to the Sarasota County Jail where he's currently being held on $170,000 bond.
Sarasota Police detectives have not located any local victims but the investigation remains ongoing.
