Sarasota Man Arrested In Shootings of 2 Women
The United States Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested a man wanted for shooting two women in Sarasota.

SARASOTA, FL ā Members of the United States Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force have arrested a man wanted for attempted murder in the shootings of two women Friday, April 6.
Linval Cohoone, 34, was apprehended Tuesday evening, April 10, in Bradenton.
The shootings took place inside a home at 1438 21st St., Sarasota. The two women, who have not been identified, were shot at close range and transported to Sarasota Memorial Hospital where they remain in serious condition. The relationship between the victims and Cohoone is unknown at this time.

In addition to being charged with two counts of attempted murder, Cohoone is charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Cohoone has 45 previous felony charges including aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, robbery, aggravated feeling to elude, burglary of an occupied structure and possession of cocaine.
