Capt. Patrick Robinson recently graduated from the 257th session of the FBI’s National Academy in Quantico, Va. Participation in the academy is by invitation only. Attendees undergo a 10-week course of study that’s meant to improve law enforcement at home and abroad while raising “law enforcement standards, knowledge and cooperation worldwide,” a media release from the department said. Participation is made available to both American and international law enforcement officers.

The academy’s graduate and undergraduate courses cover such topics as the law, forensic science, behavioral science, terrorism, leadership development and communication.
