Sarasota Police Investigating Woman's Homicide

SARASOTA, FL -- Sarasota Police are continuing to investigate a homicide in the 900 block of 42nd Street in Sarasota.

Sarasota Police officers received a call to assist Sarasota County Emergency Services with an injured person just after 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 11. When officers arrived, they found a deceased woman in her late 40s.

At this time, no suspect is in custody. Officers are continuing their investigation. The police have no reason or evidence to believe the public is in any danger.
