Sarasota Sheriff Searches For Person Who Shot Gun At Family Park
The Sarasota County Sheriff's Office are continuing its search for the person who fired a gun at a family park.
SARASOTA, FL ā The Sarasota County Sheriff's Office are continuing its search for the person who fired a gun around 4:30 p.m. Thursday, March 8, at Urfer Family Park, 4000 Honore Ave., Sarasota.
Urfer Family Park has several playgrounds for toddlers through elementary school-aged children and is a popular park for residents with dogs.
Deputies, therefore, are eager to catch the person who shot off a gun at the park. The person reportedly shot at somebody at the park and then ran off in the woods. Deputies aren't sure who the intended victim was but no injuries were reported.

Deputies closed the park and conducted a search of the area but have yet to turn up any suspects.
