Sarasota Spring Fine Art Festival Just Around the Corner

Arts lovers are likely to find that downtown is the place to be in March.

The Sarasota Downtown Merchants Association is playing host to the community’s Spring Fine Art Festival March 14-15. The two-day event is celebrating its third year.

Each year, the festival transforms Gulfstream Avenue into an outdoor gallery, featuring original works from not only local artisans, but those from across the country. Artisans include those that work in painting, sculpting, jewelry, photography, ceramics, glass, wood and more.

The event takes place Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission and parking are free. Artwork will be available for purchase.
