Sarasota Woman Critical After Hit-and-Run
She was walking along Honore Avenue near Goodwill when the accident happened.

An 86-year-old Sarasota woman was taken to the hospital in serious condition after being struck by a vehicle Monday night.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Sara Krinsk of Sarasota was walking west near a grassy shoulder along North Honore Avenue around 7:40 p.m. when the crash happened.
A vehicle was heading westbound on a single lane driveway out of the parking lot at Goodwill, 1701 N. Honore Ave., at the same time. The vehicle struck Krinsk on her left side, continued down the driveway and left the scene, troopers wrote in a report.

Krinsk was taken to Sarasota Memorial Hospital for treatment.
Troopers are now looking for information to help identify the hit-and-run driver. Anyone who knows anything about the crash is asked to call the Florida Highway Patrol at 239-938-1800.
