SARASOTA, FL — After closing its Sarasota location suddenly in mid-September, Chef Rolf’s New Florida Kitchen announced it will reopen in a new location at an Osprey hotel.
The seafood eatery shared on its Facebook page that it will take over the restaurant and tiki bar at Casey Key Resorts, located at 1660 South Tamiami Trail.
“We finally have a location,” the Chef Rolf’s posted, adding that the restaurant’s team was “excited to see all of our loyal customers again.”

Chef Rolf's New Florida Kitchen operated at 2001 Siesta Drive, Suite 100 in Sarasota, the former location of Roy's Hawaiian Fusion, since opening in 2018. It was located next to Fleming's Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar.
The restaurant's concept of "serving up fresh locally sourced prime seafood in a sophisticated coastal setting" was created by the Swiss-trained chef Rolf Zahnd, who hosted a local TV cooking show of the same name, SRQ Media reported.
When the restaurant closed in September, it hinted that it could reopen elsewhere down the road, asking followers to stay connected on social media and its website "for updates on a new restaurant location in the closure future."
