Together Fort Myers Fund Opens to Benefit Shooting Victims
A Monday morning shooting at a Fort Myers nightclub left two teenagers dead and more than a dozen people injured.

FORT MYERS, FL — As details related to a fatal mass shooting in Fort Myers were still unfolding, the Southwest Florida Community Foundation announced the opening of the Together Fort Myers fund. Money donated to the fund will directly benefit the victims and families of those involved in Monday morning’s Club Blu shooting.
The shooting in question occurred around 12:30 a.m. Monday outside the 3580 Evans Ave. nightclub. The venue was hosting a party for teenagers when shots rang out in the parking lot.
Police say two teenagers — Sean Archilles, 14, and Stef'an Strawder, 18 — were killed. At least 14 other people ages 12 to 27 were injured in the rampage. Fort Myers Police say they have three people of interest in custody, but have released no other details. The shooting was not an act of terrorism, police have insisted.
