Watch: Heartwarming Reunion Between Stolen Dog, Owner
The pooch jumped into her owner's arms after recognizing him at a shelter in Collier County following a seven-month separation.
COLLIER COUNTY, FL — Workers at Collier County Domestic Animal Services recently got front row seats to a tear-jerking reunion between a dog and her owner.
Mary Jane was reportedly stolen from her owner about seven months ago. The critter was found not too long ago roaming the streets and was brought to the county’s shelter.

At the shelter, volunteers named the brown-and-white critter Chloe and hoped the spunky pooch would find a good home.
As it turned out, she already had one. Mary Jane’s owner learned his long-lost dog was at the shelter and took no time in claiming him.

The man, who has not been identified, and Mary Jane were both quite happy with that turn of events. A video of the reunion between the two shows Mary Jane excitedly jumping into her owners arm’s and him giving his beloved pooch a big bear hug right back.
“You’re coming home girl,” the man said while holding the sizable dog in his arms.
The video of the reunion was posted to Facebook by shelter volunteers. It’s been shared more than 37,000 times over the past few days.
