Within the last few months we have had several astounding pieces of art come through our doors, including three wild west bronze sculptures. These sculptures all came in needing special welding work. The process that we use is called bronze welding, which is also know as brazing, but varies in technique. Bronze welding uses bronze rods by joining metals by heating up the metal below their melting point and mixing the metals together to create a strong weld.
The three sculpture are all ranging from 5 inches to over a foot and a half tall! All have come from different homes and different artists, this makes these all unique in their own way. One of the sculptures needed his arm welded back on to provide the look of him opening his arms to the heavens while on horseback. The other cowboy is awaiting to be put back where he belongs… on his horse. Last but not least we made a bronco able to buck again! We love these unique pieces and are pleased to be able to share them with you!
