Woman Shot By Her Fiancé In Bradenton: Police
Police are looking for a man who shot his fiancée in both her legs in Bradenton, police said. He might be heading to Tennessee.

BRADENTON, FL — A woman was shot in both legs by her fiancé in Bradenton, authorities said.
She was shot in the 4100 block of 37th Street Court just before 11:30 a.m., according to a news release from Bradenton police.
After she called 911, EMS learned she was shot by a single bullet in both legs. She was brought to HCA Florida Blake Hospital for treatment, police said.

Detectives are looking for her fiancé, Jason Whitehill Smith, 44. He is 5 feet, 9 inches tall and weighs about 170 pounds with a recently shaved head.
He is driving the victim’s green 2005 GMC Envoy with the tag PCVA59 and may be driving to Tennessee, where he has relatives, police said.
