Women Caught Shooting Up In Car With Kids In Back Seat

Two women have been arrested sitting in a car, injecting themselves with drugs while two toddlers were in the back seat.

SARASOTA, FL – Two women have been arrested after being discovered by Sarasota Police in a parked car injecting themselves with drugs while two toddlers were in the back seat.

Sarasota Police officers responded to a suspicious vehicle in a driveway in the 200 block of Midwest Parkway, Sarasota, Sunday and found Krystle Mcleod, 37, in the driver's seat and Lisa Bryan, 53, in the front passenger seat shooting up. In the back seat were Mcleod's twin 3-year-old daughters.

A search of the vehicle yielded powder cocaine, rock cocaine, marijuana, used needles, burned spoons, burned glass and pipes.

The children were taken to Sarasota Memorial Hospital to be medically cleared as a precaution. The Department of Children and Families was also notified. Both women were arrested and transported to the Sarasota County Jail.
