• $1 Million Challenge Match Launched in Sarasota County to Support Child Protection and Workforce Housing (suncoastpost.com) — South Sarasota County residents are being asked to help meet surging needs in child protection and workforce housing through a new $1 million challenge match from Gulf Coast Community Foundation. Donations will be doubled to expand child abuse services in North Port and build Lakeview Village apartments for essential workers, directly addressing pressures from rapid population growth.
