The historic downtown Tampa venue has an eclectic selection of flicks picked out for its annual summer series.

TAMPA, FL — Summer’s not quite here, but that doesn’t mean classic movie lovers can’t start planning out their weekends. The Tampa Theatre has announced its lineup for the hot months again.

The 2016 Summer Classics Movie Series officially kicks off Sunday, June 5 at 3 p.m. when “Fargo” is set to screen at the historic downtown venue. Tickets for the Coen Brothers’ classic crime comedy are $10 and are already on sale.

The series continues June 12 at 3 p.m. with a blast from the past courtesy of Humphrey Bogart’s “The African Queen.” The film was the only one the legendary Bogart won an Oscar for. Tickets for that show are also on sale, starting at $10.
