Academy Of Holy Names Grad Selected As Fulbright Scholar

TAMPA, FL -- Dartmouth College senior Alexandra Reichert, an Academy of the Holy Names of Tampa graduate and a native of Safety Harbor, has been selected as a Fulbright Scholar.

Reichert, a philosophy major and global health minor,will spend the next year in Ecuador, where she will conduct ethnographic research on indigenous Ecuadorian women's experiences with traditional and Western health services.

Sponsored by the U.S. government, the Fulbright Program is designed to increase mutual understanding between the people of the United States and the people of other nations through international educational exchanges in more than 155 countries. Fulbright awards are available for research, graduate study and teaching English.

Dartmouth College is located in Hanover, New Hampshire.
