American Institute of Architects, Tampa Bay Chapter Announces 2014 Leadership David Hugglestone, AIA to serve as president

Tampa, Fla. (January 15, 2014)  – The American Institute of Architects' Tampa Bay Chapter announces new leadership for the organization.  AIA is the professional association for architects and those in the architecture field. 

 

The 2014 AIA Tampa Bay Chapter president is David Hugglestone, AIA. Hugglestone is principal of Ybor City-based SHiFT Architects.

Carlos Molnar, AIA is serving as vice president and president-elect. Molnar is principal at Tampa-based Sol Design.

Additional executive officers are:

-       Ken Cowart, AIA, second vice president, architect at ASD,

-       Phil Trezza, AIA, secretary, vice president at Harvard Jolly Architecture,

-       Jerel McCants, AIA, treasurer, president, Jerel McCants Architecture.

 

Kim Headland, AIA, vice president of Ybor City-based Wilder Architecture, continues to serve the chapter in a leadership role as immediate past president.

 

The American Institute of Architects (AIA) is the professional association for architects and those in the architecture field. AIA Tampa Bay is the regional chapter representing 625 members in Hillsborough, Pinellas, Polk, Hernando, Citrus, Sumter and Pasco Counties. The AIA provides programs and services including educational programs, design competitions, community service programs and serves as the united voice of the architecture profession.
