The Manhattan Bar and Bistro Partners with Radio Personality, Stu Robinson from 95.7 to Host Fundraiser

Stu Robinson of Clear Channel’s 95.7 FM the Beat will be hosting his 6th Annual Father Daughter Dance on Sunday, June 17, 2012, from 5 pm to 8 pm at the T. Pepin’s Hospitality Center, 4121 N. 50th St, Tampa, 33610. This year’s theme is “A Knight with a Princess”.
Over the past few years the sponsorships from local businesses have helped to keep the ticket prices at
below cost to make it easy for those of all socio-economic backgrounds to attend. This year is no exception and
with the community’s help, the dance can continue this tradition and ensure the Boys and Girls Club of Tampa Bay can receive its usual donation from such sponsorship. With help from the Manhattan Dolce Bar & Bistro located at 4328 W. El Prado Blvd South Tampa, FL 33629, Robinson and his team will be able to accomplish this goal.
On Monday, June 4th from 5 pm to 1 am, patrons will be able to contribute to the dance by purchasing items from the Manhattan’s menu of food and drinks. 50% of the profits from the fundraiser will go towards the dance’s expenses and the donation towards the Boys and Girls Club. Amongst the great ambiance, attendees will hear music from Tampa’s own Shawn Brown and a chance to win great summer prizes.

Stu’s Father Daughter Dance was established by radio personality, Stu Robinson, in 2005 to create a lasting memory that would strengthen the bond between fathers and their “hearts”. The dance was honored with a Mayor
Proclamation in 2011 for 5 years of service to the community. During this yearly event, the daughters are able to hear from celebrity guests and inspiring community leaders. With the mission of helping young ladies understand the importance of their fathers as well as how a man should treat them, the dance has seen over 1,000 people positively affected across the Central Florida area. Themes change yearly, but the message of ‘it’s time for girls to lower their skirts and raise their standards’ remains constant.
