Each of these partners have brought forth their unique professional experience to help make the design of the Showcase Home innovative, comfortable and efficient.

Armando Corral, a local architectural draftsman specializes in the design of custom homes throughout the Tampa Bay area. As a new home builder in Tampa, we have worked with him to create many custom homes for our clients and it has been a pleasure working with him on the Southern Living home project. His keen eye for architecture and detail have allowed us to create a one-of-a-kind home that combines the style and charm of Southern Living with a coastal West Indies design.

Our 3rd party energy partner, Soho Green, shares our passion for creating energy efficient homes throughout the Tampa Bay area. With the help of SoHo Green, we will have designed and built the Southern Living Showcase Home to have far more advanced energy standards than many other homes on the market today. Energy Star requirements have been applied to the Southern Living Showcase Home, resulting in a durable, comfortable and more efficient home that will cost 30-40% less in energy than a standard new construction home. SoHo Green has performed a Home Energy Rating Score (HERS) that will show how much electricity and gas the home is expected to utilize.
Bonded Builders Warranty Group has been the provider of Javic Homes' 1-year material and workmanship warranty, as well as our 10-year structural warranty for many years. We are pleased to have them doing this for the Showcase Home, but even more exciting is that Bonded Builders will be providing the Showcase Home with a Residential Energy Guarantee. This new program covers the additional cost of natural gas and electric utilities that exceed the guaranteed energy usage of our HERS-rated home. The state-of-the-art West Indies style home will be open for 6 weeks in the Spring of 2014. The approximately 5,000 square foot waterfront home has been designed and built by Tampa new home builder, Javic Homes. All proceeds from admissions will benefit our two non-profit partners, Operation Finally Home and All Children’s Hospital.
