Arson Suspected In Fire At Tampa Recycling Plant
Tampa firefighters responded to several fires this week, in which one firefighter was treated for heat exhaustion.

TAMPA, FL — A fire that broke out at a recycling facility Wednesday in Drew Park is being investigated as possible arson.
Tampa Fire Rescue responded to the fire in the 4800 block of North Hesperides Street around 3:30 a.m. to find a large trailer fully involved. Firefighters attacked the fire from both the ground and above with a ladder truck.
Firefighters also responded to a commercial fire Tuesday in the 2800 block of East Henry Avenue in South Seminole Heights at 6:59 a.m.

The building was unoccupied at the time. Firefighters attacked to blaze from the interior and had it under control within 30 minutes.
One firefighter was treated for heat exhaustion.

Investigators said the fire was caused by the spontaneous combustion of items used in the painting and lacquer process.
