• Nursing students get hands-on practice at AdventHealth Tampa (baynews9.com) — Nursing students now have a chance to train directly inside AdventHealth Tampa through a new Dedicated Education Unit that pairs each student with a specific nurse on the neuro-progressive care unit. The program aims to boost students' confidence, provide consistent hands-on experience with Tampa patients, and create a smoother path into local hospital jobs as AdventHealth expands similar partnerships regionally.
   

• Tampa police investigating fight that ends in a deadly shooting (tampabay28.com) — Tampa police are investigating a deadly shooting Sunday afternoon on River Willow Place in The Club at Hidden River community, where one person was found shot and pronounced dead at the scene. Detectives say the suspected shooter stayed and is cooperating, while they work to identify the victim and piece together what led to the fight in this usually quiet, family-friendly neighborhood.

Despite four field goals from Chase McLaughlin and a gritty second-half touchdown drive by Mayfield, a late Browns score and stalled final Bucs drive sealed the narrow loss.
