Floyd’s 99 Barbershop of South Tampa today announced plans for their grand opening event to be held on Friday, April 10, 2026, beginning at 9:00 a.m. The day-long celebration will include a ribbon-cutting ceremony, an in-shop scavenger hunt, prizes, and more. The shop, located at 1155 S. Dale Mabry Highway, Unit 6, in South Tampa, is owned and operated by franchisee Stephanie Noyes, a lifelong member of the Tampa Bay community. “Floyd’s is all about giving our customers an amplified experience, and we can’t wait to create that excitement at our grand opening event,” said Stephanie, noting that this is her third Floyd’s location, with shops already open in Clearwater and St. Pete. “This is an opportunity for the community to celebrate with us, meet the stylists, and even get a haircut,” she said. “Floyd’s is for everyone – men, women, and kids – and we’ll be accepting walk-in appointments all day.” The South Tampa location is offering 50% off haircuts for the first 30 days, beginning on Friday. Head Wrestling Coach Chad Parker at Bartram Trail High School has been in that position for 6 years. Coach Parker coached previously at Orange Park. Coach Parker sums up his team as "We are young but we work hard." Assistant Coach Kevin McCall works very well on technique with the wrestlers bringing solid experience with him having wrestled at Fleming Island. There was a very strong turnout for wrestling which allows wrestlers at all the weight classes. At a dual meet 16 to 18 wrestlers will be at the meet. The team's record before the 1/9 meet was 18-4. The lower and upper weights are solid with other area developing very well. Coach Parker sees a need for the wrestlers to fight off their back and get tougher. At the St Johns County Championship we had champions in 7 weight classes. One of our girl wrestlers, Ellie Sutherland, won at her weight class. Coach Parker appreciates to dedication of his student athletes and the support of his staff and the parents, volunteers and the school.
