Blast Of Cold On Its Way
Forecasters are warning Tampa Bay area residents to bundle up in the overnight hours.

Tampa Bay area residents might want to pull out those extra blankets and warm jackets for the overnight and morning hours over the next few days.
While the National Weather Service is predicting a comfortably cool Thursday with a high in the mid-60s, conditions will chill heading into Friday. Thursday’s overnight low is expected to drop to the lower 40s with wind chills down as low as the 20s along the Nature Coast and 30s in the rest of the Bay area.
Friday’s high is only anticipated to reach the mid-50s while the overnight low will drop into the brisk upper 30s with wind chills complicating matters.

As the cold weather moves in, forecasters are warning residents, especially in northern counties, to bundle up. They’re also asking small craft operators to exercise caution on Bay area waters as rough conditions are anticipated.
The cold begins to clear out for a few days starting on Saturday when the high is expected to reach about 60.

As of Thursday morning, rain is not anticipated through the weekend.
