Bob Seger Announces Tampa Tour Date

Bob Seger and The Silver Bullet Band will ride into Tampa Feb. 5.

The band intends to make a stop at the Amalie Arena on its Ride Out Tour, which promotes the release of the album of the same name.

The tour is being billed as Seger’s most extensive since the 2006-07 Face The Promise Tour. It includes stops in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Atlanta and Phoenix, among others. The J. Geils Band will also appear with Seger in select locations.

Tickets for the Tampa stop go on sale Nov. 7 at 10 a.m. They can be purchased at BogSeger.com or via LiveNation. November 7 also marks the opening sales date for the Atlanta, Fort Myers and Fort Lauderdale tour stops.

Ride Out was released Oct. 14 and hit No. 3 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart. That makes it Seger’s highest debut ever.
