Budweiser Clydesdales To Deliver Case Of Brew To Plant City

TAMPA, FL -- Winn-Dixie at Hyde Park is helping residents to "party like pirates" this weekend.

On Thursday, Jan. 24 through Saturday, Jan. 26, Winn-Dixie at Hyde Park is hosting pirate-themed events and welcomes its neighbors and visitors to attend. Events feature a special delivery from the Budweiser Clydesdale horses and a whiskey bottle signing with John Rich of Big and Rich.

On Friday, Jan. 25 at 3 p.m., Winn-Dixie and Budweiser will deliver a case of Budweiser to the winners of its Gasparilla contest. The famous Budweiser Clydesdales will trot by the winning customer’s house at 3201 Polo Place Drive in Plant City with the case of beer. Then, the winner will be invited to hitch a ride on the carriage for the Gasparilla Pirate Parade on Saturday.

Also on Friday, from 6 to 8 p.m., residents are invited to attend the Redneck Riviera Whiskey bottle signing with John Rich from the American country music duo, Big and Rich, at the Winn-Dixie liquor store at 2100 W. Swann Ave. in South Tampa.

Thursday, Jan. 24 (4 – 7 p.m.)

• Sample delicious wine, cheese and craft beers

Friday, Jan. 25 (Noon – 8 p.m.)

• Tents outside the store giving away “trinkets and trash”
• The Bud Light dune buggy will be giving away free T-shirts
• Visit the Tito’s RV, Deep Eddy’s Airstream and Coors Escalade in the parking lot
• Try your luck with the money machine in the store lobby
• “Swashbucklers” dressed in full costume will greet customers and pose for pirate-themed pictures

• Free samples, including wine, beer & spirits
• Enjoy entertainment, games and giveaways

Saturday, Jan. 26 (7 a.m. – noon)

• The Brew Bus will stop at the store on the way to the parade with six-pack giveaways
• Mimosa sampling in the liquor store
• Wine sampling
