
A woman out in the early morning hours Sunday escaped injury when a projectile, believed to be a bullet, struck the window of her car.
According to the Tampa Police Department, the incident unfolded around 2:20 a.m. The woman was near the intersection of West Azeele Street and Henderson Boulevard when a projectile entered the left rear window of her 2015 Ford Fiesta. The projectile traveled through the car’s interior and exited via the front right windshield.
While the woman was not injured, police are looking for the shooter. An unoccupied vehicle parked at a nearby credit union was also struck.
