BURR & FORMAN’S BILL SCHIFINO TO SPEAK AT DADE COUNTY BAR ASSOCIATION CONFERENCE

Tampa, Fla., Feb. 24, 2016 – Burr & Forman LLP announces that Tampa office managing partner and Florida Bar president-elect Bill Schifino will be speaking at the Dade County Bar Association’s Bench and Bar Conference in Miami on February 26th.

The conference, which will be held at the Hyatt Regency Miami, will cover areas such as serving membership, advocating for improvements to the Justice System and how to provide leadership for the legal profession and the community. In addition, conference programming will touch on how to raise and maintain the ethical and professional standards of conduct of the bar, and how to educate the public about the justice system and the legal profession.

Schifino is a board-certified specialist in the area of business litigation. His practice focuses on a variety of litigation and trial practice, including securities litigation and arbitration, professional malpractice litigation, employment litigation and intellectual property litigation. He was elected president-elect of the Florida Bar in 2015 and will officially serve as president beginning June 2016.
