Campaign To Promote Restaurant Takeout During Coronavirus Closure
Tampa Downtown Partnership is launching a campaign to promote the takeout offerings of Tampa's restaurants during the coronavirus closings.

TAMPA, FL — Following Gov. Ron DeSantis' Executive Order Friday banning in-house dining and permitting Florida restaurants to offer delivery and takeout only, the Tampa Downtown Partnership is launching a campaign to help promote Tampa's eateries.
The #TampasDowntownCurbside social media campaign will highlight local restaurants offering takeout menus, allowing the partnership’s more than 24,000 Instagram followers and 106,000 Twitter followers to support local restaurants.
“We know that this is an extremely difficult time for our local restaurants and retailers, and we want to support them any way we can. By tapping into the power of social media, we can help spread the word that they’re still open for business through takeout orders,” Tampa Downtown Partnership president and CEO, Lynda Remund, said.
