Bring your kids to the Jan Platt Library on Thursday, January 22 at 5:45pm to start this free six-week course in web design!

CoderDojo is a worldwide effort to provide a free, open environment to teach eager children about programming. Young people will learn how to code, develop websites, apps, programs, games and more from experienced mentors. This will be a six-week course in web design titled ‘Whirlwind Web Programming’, to be run weekly - on consecutive Thursdays.

A parent must attend with each CoderKid and a Windows laptop is recommended. A laptop can be provided. Registration is required. CoderKid’s Parents can sign-up here to reserve a seat. Parents signing up for seats will commit to bringing their kids to CoderDojo once a week for the duration of the course.

The Jan Kaminis Platt Regional Library is located at 3910 S Manhattan Ave., Tampa, Florida 33602. Please contact technology programming staff Alison Harris at 813-273-3652 if you have any questions about this or other events at the Jan Platt Library.
